About Mark Gilbert
Mark Gilbert is a highly respected figure in the automotive industry, with a career that spans over 40 years. As the CEO of the Automotive Training Network (ATN), Mark has played a crucial role in establishing and expanding car dealerships, managing automotive businesses worldwide, and developing cutting-edge sales strategies, behavioral psychology techniques, and personality profiling.
Starting in Northern California, Mark launched his first dealership in 1982. His entrepreneurial drive led to the growth of up to fourteen dealerships before he became a key partner at ATN. He has focused on enhancing dealership operations and financial performance through innovative training and leadership programs.
Mark is a well-known speaker at industry events, including the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) and the Australian Automotive Dealers Association (AADA) conferences. Outside of work, Mark cherishes time with his family. He has been married for 24 years, is a father of five, and a grandfather to nine. His adventurous side is evident through his hobbies: he is a PADI Certified Dive Instructor, a former NCAA college basketball official, and an airplane pilot with a turbine engine rating. His passion for travel ensures he stays connected with clients and partners, accumulating significant air miles each year.
